SUMMARY:Meditation Evening (thursday) - physical - - cancelled in relation to the Corona measures
DESCRIPTION:Weekly physical Vipassana meditation session in Karunika\, Meerhuizenplein 38\, Amsterdam. \nThe next few weeks there will be no physical meditation sessions on Thursday evening in relation to the Corona measures. \nMinister Grapperhaus of the Department of Justice has had a open conversation with representatives of the religions in the Netherlands and made an urgent appeal to embrace the 5 p.m. rule. \nThe religous organisations in the Netherlands have agreed and strongly advise their member organisations to act accordingly. So\, it is not a rule but an urgent invitation to give a good example to the dutch society. \nFrom the beginning of the Corona crisis the board of Foundation Dhammadipa has tried to give a good – ‘enlightened’ – example and naturally we will continue to do so. \nIn the weekend of 4 and 5 December we will work on possible alternatives for the physical sessions.  Please check the website and read the newsletter.

SUMMARY:Avondmeditatie (donderdag)
DESCRIPTION:De avond bestaat uit een loop- en een zitmeditatie. Inloopgroep\, begeleiding Adi Ichsan. \nOp de donderdag is de zitmeditatie korter dan op de maandagavond en is er meer begeleiding tijdens de meditaties. Als je nog geen of weinig ervaring hebt\, kom dan op de donderdagavond. Na afloop van de meditatie is er gelegenheid om vragen te stellen. Op de zondagochtend is er ook een meditatie\, tenzij er een andere activiteit is gepland. \nDe meditatieruimte is voorzien van meditatiekussens en -bankjes. Het is handig om ruim zittende kleding te dragen. \nDe avonden worden gegeven op basis van dana\, met een richtlijn van € 7\,00 als bijdrage aan de vaste kosten\, zoals de huur. Dana betekent vrijgevigheid.
